Hayward Night Market
The Hayward Night Market is a family-friendly neighborhood event organized by Hayward locals to build community, uplift local small businesses & organizations, and create a sense of safety between neighbors.

The Hayward Night Market is hosted at St. Rose Hospital and features food trucks, music, local crafts, and entertainment. Some things to look forward to at the Hayward Night Market are:
- Over 50+ community groups, local artists, and business owners
-
Performances by local dancers, DJs, and musicians
-
Children's activities including bubble wands, face painting, chalking, crafts table
- Giveaways and event merchandise
The first Hayward Night Market was funded by the Hayward Peoples Budget — made possible through the Hayward Community Coalitions’s campaign to put public funds directly in the hands of the people to invest in the parts of our city that have been historically neglected.
“As I grew up, spaces for the community seemed to shrink. The baseball fields that once were community hubs on the weekends were removed, and the weekend commotion at the local parks slowly disappeared. We hope that the Hayward Night Market becomes a recurring event that folks from all over the city consider a neighborhood staple.” - Alex Moreno
